Large School Girls

Springfield High takes on local entrant Normal University, who beat Morton on a last second shot by sophomore Chante Stonewall. Springfield has taken home a trophy in each of their previous four appearances. The streak continues.

Large School Boys

First-time entrant Chatham Glenwood battles defending champion and the state’s top-ranked 3A school in North Chicago. Glenwood’s Peyton Allen currently leads the scoring parade, averaging 26.33 points through the first three games. North Chicago counters with a trio of Division I players.

Small School Girls

Rematch – defending champion Champaign St. Thomas More puts their title on the line against Kankakee Bishop McNamara. The two teams met December 7th, with Bishop Mac claiming an 80-74 win.

Small School Boys

Bloomington Central Catholic will challenge defending champion Rockford Lutheran, a school that has yet to lose a Classic game (7-0) since joining the tournament a year ago. Lutheran is headlined by returning all-tournament selection Thomas Kopelman, while Central Catholic counters with Nick Norton, a transfer from Rock Bridge High School (Columbia, MO). Norton becomes the fourth member of his family to play in the Classic.
