TEAM TIDBITS
*The Chargers won the Class 3A IHSA State Championship in 2009 and took home the fourth place state trophy in 2010. *Last season during their post-season run, the first six teams the Chargers faced in the state tournament were an opponent they had faced during the regular season (Hillcrest, Cahokia, Springfield Southeast, Mahomet-Seymour, Champaign Central and Urbana). *Josh Piper was named first team All-Big 12 Conference last season. He is receiving interest from Yale, Ball State, Illinois-Chicago, Northwestern, Princeton and the University of Chicago.
