TEAM TIDBITS
*Morton ended the 2009-10 season with a 78-48 Sectional championship loss to Springfield. They return every player but one this season, including all five starters. *The Potters have won Regional titles five of last six seasons. In 2007 they took home the fourth place state trophy and in 2008 and 2010 they made it to the Sectional championship. *Mariah Nimmo was named first team Peoria Journal Star Large School All-Area and Mid-State 6 All-Conference, and received a Special Mention recognition on both the IBCA All-State team and Champaign-Urbana News Gazette All-State team last season. *Sarah Livingston received a Honorable Mention recognition on the Illinois Basketball Services All-State team last season. She is the sister of former Peoria Central All-American and NBA Lottery draft pick Shaun Livingston.
