    Holds all-time record for most assists in a tournament with 45.
  • Melvin BuckleyThornwood
    Two-time all-tournament member from 2000-01. Plays for Purdue University
  • Brian CookLincoln
    Unanimous all-tournament team selection in 1998. Scored 30 points in one game. Big Ten Player of the Year at University of Illinois in 2003. Drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2003 NBA Draft.

    Led tournament in scoring in 1999 with an average of 22.0/ppg. Three-time all-tournament team member from 1998-2000. First Round Draft Pick of Chicago Bulls in 2001.

    Three-time all-tournament team member from 1976-78. MVP of tournament in 1978.
  • Carl GolstonChicago Phillips
    Led the tournament in scoring in 1979 and 1980 with averages of 31.5/ppg and 26.0/ppg respectively. Scored 42 points in a game in 1979. Holds record for most field goals, tournament (53). Two-time tournament MVP in 1979 and 1980. Played at Loyola University.

The only four-time all-tournament team member in the history of the Classic from 1994-97. Played one year at University of Iowa.
